Personal Destiny

Destiny – future set of events, present conditions and circumstances.

God has planned for us, based on:

• Person (Rom 8:29, 30)
• Purpose (Eph 1:11; 2:10)

God chooses a certain type of Person for the fulfillment of a specific Purpose (GD)

Noah,

Abraham, Moses, Paul

Question for us is:

Who am I becoming? (Am I becoming like the one, God made me for?)

What are the characteristics of a child of God? (GD)

Write down the characteristic and on a scale of 1 to 10, where 10 is Jesus, mark where you stand, right now.

One specific need you would ask from Jesus?

Am I fulfilling God’s call and purpose for my life (Do I know that purpose?)

Purpose is different for each person, but we are all full-time ministers in our calling.

Where do you fit in? What all can do you in the place, where God has placed you in?

Who - shepherd (King)

Purpose – leading with integrity of heart and skillful hands

How many people inputted for good in David’s life? (GD)

How many people have so far inputted for good in your life?

Process for Personal Destiny

1. Know who you are
2. Understand your calling
3. Focus on your calling
4. Recognize to differentiate between career and calling
5. Be open to inputs that reinforce you on the calling
6. Work forward ‘on’ and ‘in’ the call
7. Dwell in God, Do with God daily

Colossians 1:9-11 – ask God to fill us and lead us

And understand

Luke 14:28-30 – finishing the calling is important – it matters the most!
