What is my Purpose?

Childhood’s big and favorite question: What will you be when you grow up?

Ambition = a cherished desire

Ambition + Talents = a possible achievement

Ambition + Talents + Plan (goals) = a worldly success plan

Knowing (God’s will & yourself) + Talents + Ambition + Plan (goals with faithful obedience) = Purpose

Eph 1:11

In him, we were all chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will.

Zacchaeus (hell to heaven)

King Saul (heaven to hell)

• Unprepared

God and You

Psalm 139:15,16

My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

1. He conceived you in his mind Ps 139:15
2. He made you for a purpose, a mission on earth
3. He gave you into the care of his children, who will add to what you are supposed to become Ps 139:16
4. Once you have gained a certain age in His time, He starts calling you
5. To hear God, we need to first seek Him, desire a relationship of truth with Him.
6. Calling is the door to a life of fulfilling one’s purpose

Col 1:16

For by him all things were created; things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; al things were created by him and for him.

General Purpose

• Be God’s child
• Worship God - A feeling of profound love and admiration by TWD
• Glorify God by thoughts, words and deeds
• Live the commandments – evangelism from the 2^nd – Love your neighbor
• Share the joy of living with God daily
